Thermo Strip is a powder paint remover that is non-toxic, biodegradable, and ecologically safe. Thermo Strip is used to dissolve cured powder and thermoset coatings including Ecoat and other thermoplast coatings. It’s ideal for stripping aluminum, steel, and even magnesium wheels.

This stripper is intended to be used at full concentration and must be heated before use. The operating temperature of the bath is 165°F – 175°F. Drum heaters can be purchased with the chemical below, or they can be purchased separately: Drum Heater. We recommend using a 55 gal. steel drum with a removable lid. Cover with the lid when not in use to help prevent evaporation.
