Columbia Coatings 1508 Non-Phosphate Conversion Coating is a unique combination of polymers and acid salts that does not contain any regulated heavy metals, organic accelerators, or phosphates.  Columbia Coatings 1508 Non-Phosphate Conversion Coating helps produce high quality parts through superior salt fog resistance and paint adhesion while reducing the environmental footprint of the pretreatment line.

Used at 1.0 - 3.0% concentration at ambient temperature with 45 - 65 seconds contact time. Lower concentrations require longer contact time, while higher concentrations (in excess of 3.0%) can cause flash rusting. Solution pH should be maintained above 3.0.
